Publisher "MALIPIERO" is an Italian publisher specializing in children's books active in the 60s, 70s, 80s up to the early 90s.
It has released two different series of "paper soldiers". One series is in a black box, containing a squared map and a sheet with very simple wargame rules in Italian, English and Spanish. And a series, simpler, in a clear bag, with only a game base (and the sheets with the paper soldiers, of course )
These sets were released between 1970 and 1980 as products for boys. they don't have much historical precision and some figures are mirrored while others have drawings on the front and back. They were made to play, not to faithfully reproduce history
