Every time i found an image in internet I like I make a paper Soldier of it 
some times it is more hard than make one by my one but i tink when it is so good it wort the effort
and i true belive that the ones i found are so good that are mereciful of be in our table games and i cant resist
this one 54mm and 25mm from my collection

Came on Guys some comments 
Mean wille I have detected some errors and you say nothing
the first cossack one in head the straps are missing and left have dragona , in four the rider leg and sadle need go to front...is a perspective problem whem the figures are not in perfil

This is always difficult to make another side, when view of horse and rider are under angle. 
Some mistakes are usual thing.
In this case I usually makes a "mirror" image and paint in white everything inside of contour, after what redraw everything.
You are rigth some times is beter make everything new but i am attempting copy the style and the texture
of corse it will more easy if i do every thing by hand but then it will be need scan and my scan dont work it is damaged
other solutions need tech and hardwere i dont have(direct draw in a screen)
since that I use mouse , corel paint (not very good program) and corelDraw4, still learning how to use Adobe ilustrator
The vice of corel is to high....
About Adobe Illustrator it is better to ask Engineer. He is skilled exactly in this software.

I see i dont know way Napflatpaper dont make true back sides to is cavalry our if he is the true designer of front side how who is he
but is infantry have back sides

i think the infantry is from an italian artist
still is possible make a true back side in same style
